Frequently Asked Questions

Can I attend the inspection?

Absolutely! We welcome your participation. To ensure a thorough and focused inspection, we recommend that you join us toward the end of the process for a detailed walk-through. This approach allows us to carefully evaluate the property first, so we can then present our findings to you in a clear, organized, and informative manner.

How long does an inspection take?

Most home inspections take between 2.5 to 4 hours, depending on the size, age, and condition of the home. Larger or older homes, or those with features like basements, attics, or outbuildings, may require additional time. We always take the necessary time to complete the inspection thoroughly and professionally.

If the seller or homeowner needs notice, it’s a good idea to inform them of the expected duration once the inspection is scheduled.

What is your Inspection report like?

Our inspection (sample) report is a detailed written narrative delivered as a PDF via email within 24 to 48 hours after the inspection. It includes clear, easy-to-understand descriptions of all major home systems, such as the roof, foundation, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more.

The report is enhanced with color photographs to highlight important findings and help you visualize key issues or features. We provide context, explanations, and recommendations where necessary, giving you a comprehensive overview of the home’s condition so you can make informed decisions.

Can I call later for information and advice?

Yes, absolutely. We are happy to answer your questions. If you need more information, advice, or clarification on any deficiencies identified in your report, please give us a call. We will connect you directly with your inspector to assist you.
